Sinclair: Fred & Hazel
Fred and Hazel farmed on a farm with his dad for two years. Due to no crops and the depression, Fred secured work on a farm at Francis, Saskatchewan, operating a farm for Mr. J. B. Francis, a millionaire who inherited from his dad. Mr. Francis made his home in Indian Head. He belonged to the reserve militia, so when the war broke out he went overseas.
After the war Mr. Francis sold the farm and we came back to Browning and purchased the Alex Webb farm, 35-5-5, half section for $6000. In 1969 we retired to Lampman and our son, Jim, took over the farm.
