Notes on Lydia Jean McBride
Stull, Lincoln and Jean
Jean McBride, second daughter of Roy and Ruth McBride of Arrowwood, was born in Idaho on Nov. 3, 1917. She married Lincoln Stull of Carstairs, Alberta. Lincoln worked at Bob Williams' farm for several years. He was born Feb. 13, 1914 in North Dakota and was the youngest son of Thomas and Etta (SINCLAIR) Stull. While at Arrowwood Lincoln enjoyed sports, especially hockey. Lincoln and Jean were married July 12, 1940 in Calgary. Their first home was in Bralorne, B.C., where Lincoln worked in the gold mines. From there they went back to the McBride farm for a few years before moving to Gardiner, Oregon in Nov. 1946.
