He married Nora Mae Greenley 17 August 1940 in Lyleton, Manitoba, Canada, daughter of James Jacob Greenley and Jessie Maud Lochead. She was born 21 July 1921 in Coultervale district, Manitoba, Canada, and died 09 October 2006 in Melita, Manitoba, Canada.
